i get at least 20 msgs a day askin me to listen to demos , songs or pictures....i want to apologize in advance ....i dont really have time to sit through music of anybodys AT THIS POIN IN MY LIFE....as i am recording my own album and its alot of work..I am currently workin with UCB , and trying to help them get they deal....So there is not enough time to address everybody elses needs at this point.... i understand your passion and hunger for this business...but understand mine as well and respect that i can't do anything right now for anyone other then myself or Uncalled For...i haven't even put out an album yet.... after the first album release ..i will be lookin for more artist ..but for now Allido records , myself and Elitaste ..is concentrating on my album....as far as me givin me opinion on music...i normally check my myspace on my sidekick ..NO SOUND....sorry...stay tuned for more album info!!!"

Since the boom of technology, Artists have been able to connect with fans direct via myspace, facebook, etc like never before. While the upside can be great for getting direct feedback about music, or being able to relate to people and strengthen your "brand" as an artist, their is also a downside.

Artists can have everybody and they mama sending them myspace messages about how they are the hottest in (insert city here), or they just need that one shot, or can they do a verse for free because they was friends with such and such who's like they cousin!

Here you have an artist speaking the truth about his situation. He just doesn't have time to put everybody on. My question is, will fans/supporters/artists looking for that shot understand? Can they, or more so we respect the fact that an artist is being truthful and saying he can't do anyhting for anyone right now or will the internet thuggery commence and the "hate" increase?
